Air Oasis nanoHCT Induct

The nanoHCT Induct is an air purifier designed to be duct mounted in a HVAC (Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning) system. The nanoHCT Induct is capable of cleaning the air in every area supplied by the HVAC system, making this unit more efficient than standalone or countertop air purifiers that only cover a single room. We recommend using them in areas from 1000 to 5000 square feet.

This air purifier quickly and effectively reduces carbon-based contaminants, providing fresh, clean smelling air in only minutes. What are carbon-based contaminants? Some of the more familiar carbon-based contaminants include mold, bacteria, viruses, odors and volatile organic compounds.

Easy To Operate

The nanoHCT Induct installs in less than 15 minutes, connecting to a standard 110VAC - 240VAC electrical outlet or hardwired to a 24VAC power source. There are no complicated multiple settings to learn, no routine maintenance to perform, or filters to change or clean. The only maintenance required is changing the AHPCO Cell every two years. The blue lamp replacement LED indicates when the AHPCO Cell is ready for replacement. This air purifier is virtually maintenance free!

An audible alarm indicates when the AHPCO Cell should be replaced.

Coverage

As a general recommendation:

the nanoHCT Induct 6 should be used in areas up to 1000 square feet
the nanoHCT Induct 9 should be used in areas up to 3000 square feet
the nanoHCT Induct 14 should be used for areas between 3000 and 5000 square feet.

Areas of higher contamination, areas above 5000 square feet or with ceilings above 10 feet may require additional units for best results.

Placement Options and Applications

They can be mounted in either the supply side or return side of your HVAC system. Place the nano Induct within 10 feet of an electrical outlet. To help you determine the optimal placement we listed a few examples:

Above coils to reduce mold and bacteria growth on the coils.
Reduce contaminants in ductwork by mounting the nano Induct in the plenum on the supply side of the HVAC system.
In large commercial applications air becomes re-contaminated as it travels through the ductwork. Therefore we designed this extremely compact unit to give you the ability to mount several nano Induct units throughout the ductwork.

1. The germicidal UVC lamp destroys germs that pass through the rays of UV light.

2. Light rays from the UVC lamp react with the nano Nickel HCT™ catalyst to produce catalytic molecules.

3. Catalytic molecules seek out and destroy carbon-based molecules by converting them to harmless carbon dioxide and water.

FAQs

1. For a multiple floor home is it better to get a unit for each floor and if so why is it better?

Multiple small units always cover entire home more adequately than a single large unit no matter how many floors the home has. The alternative would is to install an induct unit in your central heat and air to cover the entire home.

2. Should I place a unit in my basement or will my unit upstairs cover my basement too?

Your basement needs it’s own unit unless you are using an induct unit and your basement is heated and cooled by the HVAC system.

3. Why is your technology better than other air purifiers on the market?

Our units utilize our proprietary NASA developed PCO nano technology. They do not require high, costly maintenance (like changing filters). All Air Oasis products are energy efficient, requiring less energy than a light bulb. They are all durable products, several made with REAL aluminum housings. All Air Oasis Air Sanifer/Purifiers sanitize surfaces as well as the air. Air Oasis provides made in the USA products with documented independent studies.

4. Is the mercury in the UV lamp emitted into the air?

No, the lamps contain very little mercury and remains inside the lamp. UV lamps should be disposed of properly. Find disposals centers in your area at www.earth911.org.

5. How much mercury is in the UV lamp?

Less than 5 mg per lamp.

6. Will my unit work properly with my windows open?

The unit will work with a window open. In fact if you open a window on the opposite side of the house from the unit it will help pull the ions through the house. If all windows are open however the unit will work less effectively. This is due to the fact that the ions are being pulled outside and mold and other contaminants are being pulled inside your home.
