The Air Oasis Mobile Sanifier® 175 cleans the air in areas up to 175 square feet and the Air Oasis Mobile Sanifier® 250 cleans the air in areas up to 250 square feet. This includes bedrooms, bathrooms, utility rooms, in your vehicle, on vacation, in hotels, at the office, in your RV, on your boat, etc.

In addition, this air purifier comes with a DC adaptor to allow you to plug it into your car, truck or mobile home. Technology

1. The germicidal UVC lamp destroys germs that pass through the rays of UV light.

2. Light rays from the UVC lamp react with the nano Nickel HCT™ catalyst to produce catalytic molecules.

3. Catalytic molecules seek out and destroy carbon-based molecules by converting them to harmless carbon dioxide and water.

This breakthrough, originally developed by NASA, does not rely on filters and is virtually maintenance free. In fact, in many circumstances our AHPCO technology reduces contaminants more efficiently than a HEPA filter without the high cost of replacing filters on a regular basis

1. For a multiple floor home is it better to get a unit for each floor and if so why is it better?

Multiple small units always cover entire home more adequately than a single large unit no matter how many floors the home has. The alternative would is to install an induct unit in your central heat and air to cover the entire home.

2. Should I place a unit in my basement or will my unit upstairs cover my basement too?

Your basement needs it’s own unit unless you are using an induct unit and your basement is heated and cooled by the HVAC system.

3. Why is your technology better than other air purifiers on the market?

Our units utilize our proprietary NASA developed PCO nano technology. They do not require high, costly maintenance (like changing filters). All Air Oasis products are energy efficient, requiring less energy than a light bulb. They are all durable products, several made with REAL aluminum housings. All Air Oasis Air Sanifer/Purifiers sanitize surfaces as well as the air. Air Oasis provides made in the USA products with documented independent studies.

4. Is the mercury in the UV lamp emitted into the air?

No, the lamps contain very little mercury and remains inside the lamp. UV lamps should be disposed of properly. Find disposals centers in your area at www.earth911.org.

5. How much mercury is in the UV lamp?

Less than 5 mg per lamp.

6. Will my unit work properly with my windows open?

The unit will work with a window open. In fact if you open a window on the opposite side of the house from the unit it will help pull the ions through the house. If all windows are open however the unit will work less effectively. This is due to the fact that the ions are being pulled outside and mold and other contaminants are being pulled inside your home.

7. If the units do not pull the air in the machine to purify it then why is there a fan on the units?

The fan pulls a small amount of air into the unit to utilize the hydrogen in the air for PCO process that cleans your air to occur. Contaminants that are pulled through the unit will be exposed to germicidal UV rays for added benefit. The fan also distributes the ions produced by the air purifier throughout your home.

8. Why do the mobile units use a filter when your other units do not require them.

The filters capture larger particles, such as dust, that is more prevalent in cars and other vehicles.

9. How often do you need to replace or wash the filter?

You need to check the filter annually and clean it as particles begin to accumulate.

10. Why does th mobile have a 1 year warranty instead of a 3 year warranty like your other units?

The Mobile unit is designed to be “on the go” in cars, boats, RVs, hotel rooms etc. making it more susceptible to abuse. Therefore, in order to keep the unit at an affordable price we only apply a one year warranty to them.

11. Why do the mobile units have 3 fan speeds and 3 ion settings and the other units do not?

They were designed this way because they are used in smaller areas like a car and you may not require the full force of the unit in smaller vehicles. You should always run the Mobile on high when there are higher contaminant levels, like smoking.
