When buying an air purifier from Air Oasis, you are getting one of the best air purification products on the market. On this page, we provide a list of answers to questions that we commonly hear. Q: What does an air purifier do?
A: An air purifier helps eliminate contaminants in the air. Examples of what our purifiers remove from the air include bacteria, mold, viruses, odors, and other contaminants.
Q: Can you explain exactly how an air purifier works?
A: Air Oasis air purifiers work by combining several overlapping, redundant technologies: the medical grade H13 HEPA filter captures and traps dust, dander, pollen, and smoke. The activated carbon filter absorbs harmful VOCs, chemicals, mycotoxins, and odors. The silver ion filter sterilizes mold, bacteria, and viruses by disrupting their DNA and reducing pathogens by up to 99%. The germicidal UV-C light, a time-tested technology, destroys pathogen DNA without producing any ozone, and Bi-Polar Ionization releases positive and negative ions that actively hunt down and eradicate contaminants.
These technologies all work together to clean your air with precision and without static electricity or harmful ozone.
Q: Does Air Oasis offer an air purifier that covers the entire house?
A: Our air purifiers, the four sizes of the iAdaptAir®, are single-room air purifiers. We recommend you put one air purifier in each high-traffic room, such as a living room, or one you spend a lot of time in, such as a bedroom. For the best results, one air purifier in every single room will offer whole-home coverage.
Q: Do Air Purifiers require a lot of electricity?
A: No: A 45-watt light bulb uses more electricity than our most popular air purifiers. In comparison, other air purifiers not manufactured by Air Oasis may use as much as 100 watts of electricity.
Q: Are your air purifiers made in the USA?
A: Air Oasis manufactures air purifiers in our Texas facility using international and domestic parts. Additionally, we fabricate many components in our facilities located in Amarillo, TX. Whenever possible, we try to purchase components from manufacturers in the U.S.
Q: Are the Air Oasis air purifiers for residential use only?
A: Our purifiers are for both residential and commercial use. Many healthcare professionals use our air purifiers in their clinics, as well.
